Private stand-alone cottage on a beautiful farm 1.5 hours north of Cape town and 30-40 minutes from Elands Bay. This is a very simple, off-grid, self-catering cottage with beautiful mountain views, a dam to swim in and hiking access to the entire 2000 hectare farm. The farm has established hiking and mountain biking trails, horse riding on request and established sport and trad rock climbing routes. Nina’s House at Buffelspad

Nina's house is one of two cottages on the Buffelspad private nature reserve. The property borders the Cederberg Wilderness Reserve and is located at an altitude of 850m. The Fynbos reserve is a botanists paradise with a wide variety of unique plants spread across the property. There are approximately 10km of breathtaking walking trails traversing the Middleberg mountains. A stay at Nina's House is the perfect antidote for stress and a chance to reconnect with nature.

Klipkop High Mountain Stone Cottage

The farm's fourth cottage is built of rock between two boulders. The interior is very comfortably furnished with ceder-clad walls and ceder floors, two comfortable 3/4 beds, a fireplace, kitchenette and a bathroom clad in rock with sliding doors opening onto the landscape. The cottage faces north with a view of Sneeuberg. There is a large sliding door opening onto the patio with a retractable awning and a braai to enjoy the extraordinary views in every direction.

The quaint little cottage is in between the guava orchid of a working farm with beautiful views of the mountain. In season time you can pick and eat guavas.( Apr- Oct). You can wonder around the farm or visit many interesting places in town, or hike up 22 Waterfalls or Groot Winterhoek Reserve
