Squirrel Field Glamping

Our bell tent with super-king bed & luxurious bedding is perfectly located amidst wonderful countryside. There are many activities, places to see & events locally. Walks are directly from the tent. The local pub, serving home made food & local ales, is a 3-minute walk away. We provide an induction hob, fridge/freezer, BBQ, microwave, kettle & toaster. We can prepare 2 self-inflating mattresses for children if needed. The tent is on its own private area of land for you to use exclusively.

Our bell tent is the perfect escape to tranquility and we have set up camp so you don’t have to, just turn up and relax with every thing you need provided.

Monk's View offers adventurous nature lovers fully off-grid glamping (no water, electricity or cooking facilities) in our private nature reserve, surrounded by the lakes, woods, swans, geese, deer, peace and quiet. You'll have your own fire pit with free firewood to enjoy under the stars and a lovely composting loo all to yourself.

You'll have your own little paddock, surrounded by pasture land, hedgerows, apple trees, sometimes sheep, and steps away from woodlands and cycling routes, and on a clear night... a mass of stars overhead! Each lodge sleeps 6 people and up to 2 dogs, in a King Bedroom, a Twin Bedroom and Double Cabin Bed. All the beds are made up with Egyptian cotton bed linen and cosy duvets. Each lodge has its own bathroom, complete with shower, flushing toilet, basin and heated towel rail so you don’t need to sacrifice on your creature comforts. Hot water is provided on tap, as well as your very own log burner to keep you toasty!
