Shandwick is one of three small coastal communities that along with Balintore and Hilton that make up the seaboard villages. The general store has a good choice of foodstuffs which you can cook in our well equipped kitchen.

The cottage was built in 1880 and Inverness has since grown up around the cottage which once stood on open farmland. Many of the top Inverness restaurants and bars are located near by.
