With a focus on togetherness and entertaining, Seagate is perfect for both couples and families. The apartment boasts a spacious open plan dining, kitchen and lounge area which takes full advantage of natural light and flows seamlessly onto the sizeable balcony.

The modern kitchen is equipped with every appliance a holiday maker could possibly need for total convenience including the must haves; a coffee machine and dishwasher, plus a Weber Family Q BBQ on the balcony to allow our guests to cook up a storm. The choice is then whether to dine indoors at the bar style table or outdoors, on the balcony which enjoys sea breezes and ocean glimpses from its second storey setting. For those who prefer to dine out, an easy 5 minute stroll will see you at the Caloundra Esplanade; home to Bulcock Beach’s popular cafe and restaurant strip or, take a 2 minute stroll via the back gate and you’ll reach Bulcock Street; home to Caloundra’s weekly street markets.

With a footprint of 150m2, the apartment sleeps up to 7 guests across its three generously sized bedrooms each with ceiling fans, screened windows and built in robes. The main room features a king size bed, the second is set up with a queen and the third bedroom has both a double and single bed.
Sure to keep children of all ages entertained, indoors Seagate offers an internet enabled Smart TV with Netflix and Ultimate Fetch TV in the open plan living area and second Smart TV with Netflix in the master bedroom as well as a selection of board games, books and children’s toys. In the garage the owners have generously provided 2 kayaks, a couple of boogie boards, an umbrella and beach toys for guest use along with a beach trolley to assist in the easy transportation of the essentials to the beach.

The apartment is equipped with a European style laundry comprising a washing machine and dryer with the option to use the clothes horse inside the apartment or communal clothes lines in the building’s back grassed area. For those not wanting to haul luggage up the stairs the building has a lift with direct access to the front door for our guests’ convenience as well as a carport space for 1 medium sized car. For guests with larger cars, after unpacking your luggage there is the option to utilise a free street parking spot or park on the top storey of the transit centre (bus terminal) next door.

Everything you need is within a few minutes’ walk so you can unpack your bags and never set foot in the car until the day you leave.
With residential tenants on all others floors, if partying is what you’re looking for then this definitely isn’t the right property for you, but for those who love the sun and the surf and are looking for a quiet getaway with family or friends, Seagate is the ideal accommodation for the Sunshine Coast holiday you’ll never forget!

HOUSE RULES
We know you'll enjoy staying in this apartment as much as its owners regularly do, and expect that you will treat the property with the same respect you would your own.
In order to respect both the apartment and our neighbours we have the following ‘house rules’:
- Seagate is located on the second floor of a quiet residential complex. As noise travels easily the apartment is best suited to families or small groups. Strictly no parties, loud or offensive music, high heeled shoes, events or additional guests other than those included in your booking are permitted. In order to maintain respectful relationships with neighbours we ask that all guests move indoors and keep noise to a minimum after 9pm.
- Smoking is permitted on the balcony only. Under no circumstances are guests to smoke indoors.
- Upon check out our expectation is that the apartment is left neat and tidy, looking similar to when you checked in. Thank you.

Just 90km north of Brisbane, the Sunshine Coast region stretches from the cool green of the hinterland mountains to the crisp blue and white of the beaches. As you can imagine with its near perfect year round climate, the ocean plays host to many of Caloundra’s boredom busters.
Seven beaches make up the coastline of Caloundra; Golden Beach, Bulcock Beach, Kings Beach, Shelly Beach, Moffat beach, Dicky Beach and Currimundi. For your Caloundra holiday, the ocean is literally your oyster with popular water related activities including cruises, sailing, snorkelling, scuba diving boat hire, windsurfing, jetskiing and surfing. For fishing enthusiasts, a great variety of fish species including tailor, bream, jewfish and prawns can be found in the waterways and cooked on one of the area’s beachside barbecues.
Seagate is located one block back from Bulcock Beach. Patrolled from September until May the beach and adjoining Happy Valley Park is popular for gatherings of family and friends for its popular picnic spots, playground and warm paddling pools to splash in at low tide. The once sleepy beach town is now home to a bustling strip of cafés, restaurants and bars directly opposite Bulcock beach.
Popular with guests of all ages is Kings Beach for its rock pools, gentle beach break with protected swimming areas and tidal swimming pool on its foreshore. The $4m foreshore facility is equipped with shade sails, a 25m sea water lap pool plus children’s pool and wading area complete with a time-delayed water spurt fountain.
The wooden boardwalk known as the Caloundra Coastal Path spans most of the coastline from Golden Beach around the Caloundra Headland to the sandy beaches of Kawana. This walk allows for uninterrupted views of the sparkling blue waters that lead into the Pumicestone Passage and Bribie Island Marine Park as well as some of the area’s historic sites including the heritage listed Kings Beach Bathing Pavilion built in 1937 and the Military Jetty used for operations in WW II.
The Pumicestone Passage is a narrow, shallow estuary made up of tidal channels and sand banks perfect to explore on a stand up paddleboard or kayak. Its placid waters are popular with dolphins, dugong, turtles, a variety of fish species and both migratory and native shorebirds. Stretching 35km from the tip of Bribie Island off the coast of Caloundra in the north to Deception Bay in the south, Pumicestone Passage is recognised as one of the most important bird and marine habitats on Australia’s east coast!
Caloundra’s vibrant arts community is showcased by a 1.7km street art trail which features a number of pieces that convey stories of the coastal community’s heritage. Operating year round, the Caloundra Street Fair markets are literally at the apartment’s back gate operating every Sunday morning and twilight markets operate during the seasonal holiday periods. Both markets turn the main street into a carnival boasting unique offerings of artisan craft, homewares, art, clothes and delicious food stalls – browse, buy or just stop by to enjoy the atmosphere!
The Caloundra Wheel (which can be seen from the apartment’s balcony) entertains visitors in the cooler months and other major attractions include hinterland towns of Montville and Maleny, Australia Zoo, Aussie World, The Banana Bender Pub (formerly Ettamogah Pub), Big Kart Track and the Queensland Air Museum.
