Our cottage is the perfect country getaway for TWO! Enjoy a gorgeous lake view through the cottage windows or from comfy seats outside under the pavilion. Fully equipped kitchen if you choose to do your own cooking. There's a cozy fire pit outside under the pavillion that you can quickly light, kick back & relax. Free wi-fi, cable tv & coffee. Only 10-15 minutes from the Ark Encounter & within an hour of the Creation Museum/Downtown Cincinnati area or from Ky Horse Park/Lexington.

We’ve created a peaceful atmosphere and a very functional space decorated with relaxing cool colors like white, pale green and gray. There’s one private bedroom with a king size bed, dimmable sconce lights for reading, bedside tables and a clothes rack for storage. The bathroom has a beautiful glass shower stall, wall hooks for towels, and a vanity with ample counter space for getting ready. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and has an indoor/outdoor bar area with a lake view. The living room has a sectional sofa & chair to kick back, relax, watch TV or you can simply take in the lake view through the large window. You can also create a nice ambiance with the candlelit fireplace. Note: There are a lot of steps and a walkway down to the cottage that must be navigated with your luggage down when you arrive and back up when you leave. Note: our cottage is inspected for bugs & treated for insects every 6 weeks by a professional extermination service.

Our new dock construction will begin the last week of August 2021 and continue until completion sometime in the spring of 2022. This should not hinder your stay and the workers/builders will access the dock via the hillside on the opposite side of the walkway you use to gain access to the cottage.

There is a possibility that you will see us, family members and friends walk down the hill to the boat dock and hop on our pontoon boat. We go out on the water when weather permits throughout the year. Feel free to walk down and say hello! We love meeting our guests, however, we will not disturb your stay.

There could be an occasion when something needs attention before you arrive and we (and/or a repair person) are present when you check in, but we will move out of your way as quickly as possible. We are always improving/repairing the cottage and working on things when we have the opportunity.

We enjoy meeting our guests, however, we will certainly respect your privacy.
Otherwise, we will be available anytime should you need us. Our phone number will be provided at check in.
