Welcome to our casa in San Juan del Sur! Our home combines natural beauty with modern amenities, offering guests a calm retreat to enjoy the best of San Juan del Sur. Located just minutes from the center of town in a very safe, gated community with 24-hour security, this three bedroom home sleeps up to six guests comfortably and has A/C in the bedrooms, complimentary secure parking, a fully-stocked kitchen, WiFi, and an in-ground pool with gorgeous sunset ocean views.

Our Casa is located high-up in the hills in the Pacific Marlin gated community, with delightful ocean breezes and jaw-dropping views.

Our Casa has:
- Plenty of outdoor space with seating overlooking an in-ground sunset view pool
- A common area filled with traditional Nicaraguan furniture for lounging
- A kitchen fully stocked with kitchen tools/essentials you'll need for your stay + a cozy eat-in kitchen table area
- A full bathroom with shower and amenities on the main floor
- The bathroom is next to the Jicaro Room with a king bed and a large armoir for clothing storage
- A Queen Bedroom in the back of the house with its own en-suite bathroom with a large picture window overlooking the beautiful views while you shower
- The Queen Bedroom also has a private sitting area off of the bathroom for guests to enjoy their morning coffee
- A laundry room (to be used by staff only) with a washer and dryer. It's possible to add on laundry service to your stay!
- A Master Suite upstairs with its own en-suite bathroom with a shower and its own private terrace with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding hills

Also included in your stay is:
- 24-hour security in a manned, gated community
- Local WiFi (we have one of the most reliable WiFi networks in Nica. We have fiberoptic internet that runs at 20-25 mbps and supports up to 6 devices. We work from the house all the time and never have issues)
- A/C in the bedrooms (and ceiling fans in the common spaces)
- Dimmer lights in the bedrooms for ambience
- Complimentary bathroom amenities: organic body wash, shampoo, and conditioner in each bathroom
- Complimentary pool cleaning service during your stay
- Complimentary grill use during your stay (please let us know if you want access to the grill as it is typically locked up due to security reasons)
- Complimentary fresh flowers during your stay
- House cleaning service before and during your stay (as needed). Please note that the onsite cleaning staff will let themselves in and out of the house as they maintain the space. If you would like to remove onsite cleaning, please let us know!
- Optional laundry service, if you'd like to add that on
- Complimentary onsite parking for up to two vehicles
- Option for us to arrange for a stocked fridge for you (filled with organic produce, meats, dairy, beverages, etc.) upon your arrival, if you'd like to add that on
- List of local recommendations when you check in to start your stay off on the best foot!

During your stay, please contact US (your hosts!) with any requests or issues. Please do not contact the onsite staff directly. We will be happy to help you with anything you need!

***A special note: please note that electricity is very expensive in Nicaragua. For rentals, we allocate up to 20 kilowatts of electricity per day. If you use more than that you'll be charged USD 0.50 cents per KW. The average guests' electricity usage is 15-25 KW per day. Being conscious about electricity usage helps us to maintain our rental price. Please turn off the air conditioning, fans, and other appliances when you are not using them.
When we approve your booking, we will also send you a $250 electricity deposit request. The meter will be checked before you arrive and again when you check out. If you’d like to see the meter upon your check-in and also upon your check-out, please let Jenny know during your check-in and check-out times. For any overage over 20 kilowatts per day, we will charge $0.50 per KW (USD) and then refund you for your remaining electricity balance at the end of your trip (through Airbnb’s resolution center). You agree by booking this listing that you are responsible for paying electricity when using more than 20KW per day and that you will pay for any damage that you/your group causes to the house and/or our property during your stay. Our Casa is located on top of a hill in the 24-hour gated community of Pacific Marlin. It's less than a 10 minute drive to town and we have been told that there are 20 beaches within 20 minutes driving of us (though we haven't visited all of them yet!). San Juan del Sur is a laid back beach town with dozens of restaurants, bars, and shops. It's a mix of local influence and international (mostly American ex-pat surfers) influence and it feels very low key and safe.
