In my opinion the best fish & chips near the flat. Like every chippy in Edinburgh they'll ask if you want "salt n sauce!" (it's a mix of vinegar and brown sauce) I hate it, but I'll let you decide.

A little out of the Centre, but it’s only a 20 minute taxi ride. The restaurant has beautiful surroundings and a impressive modern menu filled with regional produce.

Stockbridge is one of my favourite areas of Edinburgh, you should visit anyway even if you don’t want to eat. If you do, this gastropub features some top notch Scottish fare.
