Food Scene
This a local DC restaurant that has really good food. It's a great all-around neighborhood restaurant if you want to grab a drinks, brunch or dinner. It's about a 5 minute car ride away. One of my favorites place in the neighborhood to eat.

Busboys and Poet is a very popular DC restaurant. There are about 3 restaurants within the city. Busboys is also has a cafe and coffee shop portion as apart of their restaurant too. This is place has a very relaxing and down to earth vibe and good food as well.

Huacatay is one my list for two important reasons: #1. It's literally a five minute walk down the street from my building. #2 and most importantly they have REALLY GOOD Peruvian Chicken! You can get a Whole Chicken and three sides for under $20 dollars!!! You just cant beat that, in times when you want something quick and good to eat that's right down the street!

It's literally a five minute walk down the street from my building. #2 and most importantly they have REALLY GOOD Peruvian Chicken! You can get a Whole Chicken and three sides for under $20 dollars!!! You just cant beat that, in times when you want something quick and good to eat that's right down the street!

One of my favorites markets in all of DC. Great place to go on the weekend during the day. You can bounce around from food stand to food stand and eat and drink for hours. Union Market about a 10 minute car drive from my building. Highly recommend this market especially on the weekend.

One of the top ranked bars in all Washington, DC. They have extensive whiskey selection include their own whiskey collaboration with Woodford Reserve. They also have great food as well. Great all-around bar, very cool vibe. There's also other restaurants and bars located in the same vicinity if you want to bounce around.
