Take train from station Lelylaan towards Koog Zaandijk - with a transfer at Zaandam (also nice to have a look up there by the way!). Takes no more than 30 minutes. Walk from station Koog Zaandijk within 10 minutes to Zaanse Schans. On the way back to the station have a beer at 'Brewery Hoop', situated in old Koog Zaandijk.
