One of my favorite lunch spots! Also good for drinks, dinner or breakfast. It's a very nice restaurant, nicely furnished, little luxury experience with friendly staff.

They have the best apple pie in town. Try to go here on Saturday, it's the best way to fully take you to the atmosphere of the Jordaan neighborhood. It will be busy, but nice to stroll on the Noordermarkt afterwards.

I really like Pllek Amsterdam on the banks of the IJ in Amsterdam North. It’s such a creative hotspot! Pllek Amsterdam is perfect to meet up with friends for drinks or a easy meal.
It’s easy to get to Pllek Amsterdam North, just take the ferry from Amsterdam Central Station to the NDSM wharf and you’re there in 15 minutes. Pllek Amsterdam is made of an old warehouse and shipping containers. Completed with tons of sand, beach chairs and picnic tables it is nice to have a beer in the sun or catch up over coffee. Every Sunday afternoon there’s live music! Also other cool activities like yoga and massages on the beach.

The park is small instead of the Vondelpark and Rembrandtpark. But the area in Westerpark is really nice and during weekend days there is always something going on here.
