About the transportation

UBER or LIFT are the cheapest ways to get around, although within the beach there is good public transport and Trooleys gartis. If you are going to move to many places outside the beach, it is advisable to rent a car. If you are going to be within Miami Beach you don't need it and it is difficult for parking.
