This is an outdoor mall if you are looking for an area to walk around with restaurants and shopping.
The little Gilbert Downtown area called Heritage District is so cool! Free parking! There is a Farmers Market every Saturday morning and it is adorable. Live music, lots of produce, local items being sold, baked goods, jams, etc. along with food trucks so you can eat and walk around. We got some handmade lotion that smelled amazing and we rave about the breakfast burritos. The acai bowls are delicious too.

We love coming here with our friends. It's a great way for the golfers to hang out with the non-golfers after a day at the links. Can't get too much golf around here!

If you need to get a workout in during your stay, the rec center here is the place to do it. It’s only $6.75 for a pass for adults and $3 for kids and they have a kiddy corner for 18 mos to 7 years. The massive park has basketball courts, batting cages, playgrounds, a fishing pond, a carousel, a mini train, skate park, tennis courts, and a rec center for working out and rock wall.
