Some tips for local shopping and dining in Clinton Hill and Fort Greene. Also check out Vanderbilt Avenue, a ten-minute walk, which is closed to traffic during the summer. The avenue is lined with bars and restaurants. Great place to wander.

It's a wonderful, weekly food market where you can eat street food from anywhere: Tibet to Taiwan to Portugal to Romania to Greece to Jamaica. It attracts an equally diverse, laid-back crowd. It's quite a trek, but worth it!
