The Famous Commanders Palace is a short 6 block walk up Washington street (turn left out the door 1/2 block) for some amazing Gumbo, the best turtle soup and wonderful Creole dishes. Try the lunch menu with 25 cent Martinis🍸
Best breakfast spot just a few blocks away. Try the carrot, yogurt granola dish or the biscuits, egg and sausage burrito, oh and the waffles!
