I like to park at the Washington Blvd parking lot area. That area has a lot of cool eats and drink spots. I suggest renting a bicycle and riding the bike path to the Santa Monica Pier. So fun! And under the pier, there is a bar that serves the BEST fish tacos!

Great spot to see a view of all of LA. You can drive to the top, or park at the bottom and hike the nice path up.
