The (Burg) Ring is the railway with the cable cars around the first district where there used to be walls surrounding the first district ages ago.

A very very good and well sorted independent bookstore with english literature! Always good for a present! Located just on the ground floor of our house. 30 secs of walk!

if you need a break from the busy city: head to Volksgarten. Wild roses, weeping willows, fountains and little palaces where you look. Very british, very adorable!

The Karlskirche is not far from us (10 minutes walk, 1 station by tube). It is built by Fischer von Erlach and is so beautiful!! There's a nice fountain infront of it. Very nice to hang out there!

Very ancient and HUGE (!!) building where interesting things take place. In summer for example theres a big screen showing famous operas. All open air, all for free. With that priceless setting!
