In the winter this is a good local mountain for skiing. During the spring and summer, this is home to the famous "Grouse Grind". Be prepared, this hike is a killer on your legs if you haven't hiked in awhile. Typical hike time takes about 1.5 hours to the top. To get down you need to buy a gondola lift ticket (either before you go up or when you're up there).
