Great Italian restaurant, 10 minutes walking from the house. The best pizza's in town and people come from all over the Netherlands to eat here. Best to reserve a table beforehand.

Really cool industrial place with a small beach, nice views and great food. Nice to go for a coffee, a lunch, a dinner.... You can best cycle there (5 mins) or walking (20 minutes). It's also possible to go by car, they have plenty of space to park, it's paid parking though.

Really cool industrial place with a small beach, nice views and great food. Nice to go for a coffee, a lunch, a dinner.... You can best cycle there (5 mins) or walking (20 minutes). It's also possible to go by car, they have plenty of space to park, it's paid parking though.
Nice cafe/restaurant with a small beach. Next door there's a fancy restaurant which is also really nice (de Goudfazant) but of course more pricey.

Really nice nature area 't Twiske. There are walking trails, beaches, lots of water, forest, etc. There is also a nice cafe 'Paviljoen Twiske', where you can easily park your car. There is small an entrance fee to the park. You can also easily cycle there from the house.
