An unusual pick, as the concept might not serve everybody, but by far the best Surinam food of Amsterdam: first you order your dish, and with your coupon you queue to collect your food at a separate counter.

Amsterdam Central Station has all the transport you need, such as trams, busses, metro, ferry and train. It will bring you everywhere in Amsterdam and around. It is located in a beautiful building, so even if you do not need the transport it is worth a visit!
