15 minutes from the Gueshouse there is Volendam and Marken, typical Dutch places you will love to explore. Also, at 1 km distance, Durgerdam is worth your while. And if you like to take the bike, a great route to visit it all with nice lunches on your way...

The whole area around the Guesthouse (you really are surrounded by it) is of a stunning beauty. Typical Dutch flat land, green pastures, sheep, cows and water everywhere. If you ever want to come to peace (after a night out in Amsterdam center perhaps :-)) you are in the best spot!

The whole area around the Guesthouse (you really are surrounded by it) is of a stunning beauty. Typical Dutch flat land, green pastures, sheep, cows and water everywhere. If you ever want to come to peace (after a night out in Amsterdam center perhaps :-)) you are in the best spot!
