Sedona, AZ is one of my favorite places to get away for the day on a quick trip. It’s about 1.5 hours from Scottsdale and definitely worth making the trip. Beautiful mountains, trees and landscape make Sedona a true gem.

This local favorite is a real gem. It has a walking path around a lake. A large dog park is located here as well.

Honestly I have been here more times than I can count & you will never be so close to Lions, Tigers, Bears, Panthers, etc! This is a privately owned zoo & the animals are less than 5ft from you! I would suggest going around feeding time at 11 am each day & don’t miss Tiger splash, it’s worth the hike to get there. Most of the animals were saved from bad situations. Enjoy!
