In the summer, the Splash Pad is great fun for the kids. There is also roller skating on the indoor rink. The parents can relax at the café. On select nights, it's a roller disco for the adult crowd. In the winter, there is ice skating.

The Highline runs along the West Side Highway, so it's a great place to end your day at sunset. Also makes for a very pleasant stroll at any time. Keep your eyes open for art installations and performances, too.

The Tenement Museum is a great place to learn about the history of our city's roots. You'll be transported back in time to see how early immigrants lived in the tenements on the lower East side. The tours typically last one hour and usually require stair climbing. Not good for children under 6. Check their website for tours and times. Reservations are a must!
