The Botanic Gardens is a beautiful escape from the city. Activities include a run around 'The Tan' (a running track that runs around the gardens for 1.3km), picnics, Melbourne Symphony Orchestra free concerts in summer and a curated section in the centre of the park which has been curated with plant species from all over the world.
