Djurgården is a beautiful island in central Stockholm, which you can access with the ferry close to our flat. You can spend a whole day walking around and visiting the different museums as well as the amusement park located on the island.

Museum

Vasa museum is probably one of the most impressive museums I've ever seen. It displays the only almost fully intact 17th century ship that has ever been salvaged, the Vasa warship that sank in 1628

Ostermalms Saluhall is an 1880s food hall with antique stalls selling produce, seafood & gourmet goods, plus several cafes. Try the Toast Skagen at Melanders, my favourite!
