Uber is the fastest and easiest way to get around

During the day, the street car is a fun, historic way to see the city. Our home is only a 10 minute walk to the St. Charle's line. When the sun goes down, grab a cab, Uber, or pedi-cab. Please don’t try to walk too far, even in the French Quarter. Crime is unfortunately real in the New Orleans, and the police do the best job they can. But it’s also avoidable with the means of Uber and common sense.

Where to eat - and avoid

Welcome to New Orleans, where you are about to eat and drink your way through your stay. The city is obviously known for its unbelievable food, which certainly won’t disappoint as long as you stay away from the French Quarter tourist traps. A good rule of thumb: if someone is standing at the door asking you to come in, or some fried shrimp platter is on display under saran wrap, keep walking.
