Ocean Front Dining, bar, grill, shopping. The condo is close enough to Sea Pines you can hop on a bike and ride there from the beach (or drive by car and pay the entrance fee). If you are riding by beach or walking, just walk out onto forest beach and go right- you go past the beach houses, until you get to where the crowds are, and a very large building. People will be coming and going, and you can walk your bike up to the bike racks and enjoy the area, or ride into Sea Pines this way and use the bike paths home. They don't let bikers ride INTO Sea Pines from the gates, so make sure you enter through the beach, although you are free to leave through the gate.

Take a short walk through the forest and see the history of the Gullah people in the small buildings that mark the first settlement on Hilton Head. The forest opens up to a wild beach filled with birds and animals. This point is where the river meets the ocean. You can dig for clams or collect oyster shells and sea shells. Bring a bag, there are a ton!
