Take advantage of Denver's vast network of bike trails and lanes, and hop on a trail in just minutes. From the Yellow Door, the lanes are met at 52th Ave and Zuni St. just 0.8 miles away. From Arvada you can take Lamar St lanes to the Ralston Creek Trail...
The biggest lake + 2nd largest park in Denver and its super close. Easily my favorite park, enjoy fantastic views of the skyline, Rockies, or some big houses.

Rental cars provide the most flexibility if you want to head to the Rockies. If staying in the city, you can utilize light rail, Uber/Lyft, and bicycle trails (there are many nearby) to get around if you are comfortable.
