A huge park in the middle of the city with lots of nice hiking trails, a lake, and even a little zoo with llamas and emus. Great if you want a break from city stuff.

A museum with a little bit of everything, art, world culture, and natural history, some very impressive dinosaur fossils. Really great if you have kids, but also just fun to visit for anyone, especially if it's raining. It's just a few stops away on the subway.
