On a budget? LIDL is the cheapest supermarket around and the quality (including the wines) is good. I go there a lot.

Yay, this is your house - just on the other side: 1. The Bar/Cafe "Sonntag" is OK 2. The new GEMÜSE KEBAB is fantastic (Döner with chicken and vegs)

Take the TRAM M1 to get here. Touristy area but you can walk to many sightseeing spots/museums and also do the 1 hour boat trip at the river close by (a great idea to start you Berlin trip).

Berlins biggest beergarden in summer but an excellent down-to-earth Austrian/German restaurant year round. Highly recommended!
