In the late 80s it was transformed into this beautiful cottage you see today. Our property sits in a beautiful open space, surrounded by paddocks and vineyards. Our boutique accommodation is at the rear of the house and is two separate studios. It has been converted from a stone barn and has the charm of age but with the comforts of modern life. Each studio contains a luxurious bedroom/living area and separate bathroom. Stables by the Vines

In 1856, an English stonemason, Thompson Priest, began mining slate in Mintaro. At the same time, he built a home with stables at the rear of his property. Over the intervening years, the stables fell into a desperate state, however, recently, the Stable has returned to life through a sensitive restoration and refurbishment. Set on the edge of Reillys Winery, the Stable is a 100m walk through the vines to the cellar door and further 20 metres to the renowned Magpie Stump Hotel.
