The View to Drangarnar, Tindholm end Mykines

This idea has nurtured and maturing for several years. We started building these four houses in january '17 and they will be finish in march '18 The old Faroese houses are agreeabel to the overall Faroese landscape, and we therfore naturally targeted this ancient construction/building method. The ground floor: kitchen and living room in one. End a bathroom. Top floor: one master bedroom, intended for two grown-ups and an additonal open space aple to sleep two additional grown-ups. The view from the house is regarded among the very best in the Faroe Islands. Huset er beliggende i bygden Sørvåg, 2 km fra lufthavnen, med enestående udsigt over havet. Huset byder på opholdsrum med køkken, hyggekrog og sofagruppe, der kan bruges som sovesofa til 2 personer. De 2 værelser er med to senge i hvert rum. Badeværelse er med vaskemaskine og tørretumbler. I bygden er der bla. café, købmand og en hyggelig lystbådehavn. Med 10 min til Bøur har du den flotteste udsigt til Tintholm, herfra kan du fortsætte til Gåsedal, som byder på flot udsigt, natur og café.

Løðupakkhúsið - Historical Warehouse - Top Floor

Enjoy a stay steeped in history in a renovated 100-year-old Faroese warehouse on the water’s edge in the local habour. Fully renovated in 2019, Løðupakkhúsið features all modern amenities while preserving the traditional features of the house with original exposed beams, neutral tones and wooden flooring. It is located in the gorgeous village of Sandavágur, which is 12min from the airport and approx 25min from the capital Tórshavn. The appartment has got two floors. - Ground floor: entrance hall, bathroom and kitchen / living room with sofabed. - 1st floor: 2 bedrooms (double beds) and a small TV room with a sofa. The apartment is located in Sørvágur, with a great wiev over Sørvágsfjord and the Island og Mykines. It is located just 2 min drive from the airport, and a few minutes drive to Gásadalur, Múlafoss, Sørvágsvatn, Trælanýpa, and the ferry to Mykines, and boattrips are just a few minutes away. There are good parking conditions.

A pearl in the middle of Kvívík with a nice view

The house is situated in the middle of the Viking village of Kvívík. Even though the house itself is from early 1800s, the interior is just recently refurnished. It is a perfect place to settle down, relax and breathe in the calmness and history of the Faroe Islands. It is 3-4 km from Leynarvatn – the most popular salmon fishing lake of the Faroe Islands.
