Tucked among the redwood trees on top of King's Mountain, this 1 bedroom cabin offers both rustic charm and modern luxury. Property owners live onsite in the main house about 30 feet away from the cabin. Located just 20 minutes off HWY 280, this cabin is the perfect weekend retreat for those looking to get away from the bay area without actually leaving. Spend time relaxing in the pool, hiking or biking one of the nearby trails, or just reading a book while sitting among the redwood trees.

A beautifully secluded area (40+ acres) surrounded by natural beauty with lovely views of Elkhorn Slough and the Pacific Ocean, away from the maddening crowd. Yet, accessible to Carmel / Pebble Beach / Santa Cruz. A variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, bicycling, kayaking, golfing and whale watching. A full breakfast is served daily. It should also be noted it is a gated property and the home is accessed through a dirt / gravel private country lane which is 0.75 mile from the gate.

Hike (or snow shoe) on or off property with miles of marked trails. Stay in this authentic log cabin attached, but private from, the main home on the ranch. The loft also has a balcony that gives you amazing views of the surrounding trees and is the perfect place to listen to birds and watch wildlife. The cabin is ideal for a couple, small family, best friends, or an individual looking for a personal retreat in the forest. Dogs are welcome!

We are located 2 miles from the entrance to the Mary's Peak recreation area, the highest spot in the coast range. During winter, there is usually access to snow, only a 15 minute drive from our cabin to the top of Mary's Peak. Alsea Falls is a 25 minute drive. The coastal town of Waldport is a 45 minute drive, Oregon State University is a 20 minute drive away, and University of Oregon is 1 hour south of us. Cabin is on our private property where we live as well.
