The studio touts exposed wooden trusses, contemporary furnishings, polished cement flooring, fully serviced kitchen, modern bathroom and a wood fired heater (firewood provided).

Just a 15 minute scenic drive from Maleny you will find peace and tranquility staying in the self contained garden studio here in our pretty forest setting. Located on 35 acres of rainforest and farm land with cattle, horses, chooks, ducks and plenty of wildlife. The Cabin is a luxury standalone 1 bedroom house overlooking the dam, the island and the horse paddock. It is air-conditioned, beautifully appointed and totally private boasting a stone bath on the deck, an inside fireplace and an outside fire pit. The cabin and gardens are surrounded by a dog proof fence so your furry friend will be free to roam safely, both inside and out.

Birdsong Villa - Figtrees on Watson

Birdsong Villa (at Figtrees on Watson) is a purpose architect designed fully self contained cottage for use by our short stay guests. It is on the same property as our very popular Betharam Villa (see Figtrees on Watson listing for photos and information about this beautiful property). The villa has been designed to be wheelchair friendly with wide door opening and minimal door sills. The villa was completed in early 2021 and had been finished and furnished to a high standard.

You have the ground floor all to yourself in a 2 storey house. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Only 15 minutes drive to the beautiful hinterland town of Maleny and 15 minutes to the popular Australia Zoo or 30 minutes to the beaches at Caloundra. Children are welcome and we provide a high chair, a safety bed rail and a port a cot, if needed. Your dog (no XL dogs like Sait Bernard’s etc.)is welcome. There is a fenced yard. Our own dog is kept upstairs.
