Lovely wooded campsite nestled within the old and beautiful town. Woodman Rd is where this site is located. This road starts at the Tory Hill church and ends at the Saco River (15 minute beautiful walk). Go left on Salmon Falls road and walk along the river. There is bit of woods between the road and the river and if you look closely you will find little walk paths that lead down to the water’s edge. Enjoy the Old Farm cottage, a studio apartment on our small homestead in the beautiful Lakes Region. It’s a perfect spot for couples, small families, or traveling nurses. We are within 20 minutes to many beaches, including Lake Winnipesaukee, and provide easy access to head south to the ocean or north to the mountains. You will have your own separate parking/entrance, but are welcome to enjoy our cozy fire pit, stylish treehouse, and backyard access to the network of snowmobile trails.

Property is located on 36 acres, owner lives on site in a separate house with her 3 dogs, 1 exceptionally lazy cat and 4 rogue chickens (they may all come visit you!). Grounds have ancient apple trees, loads of perennial gardens with more in progress, berries and an organic vegetable garden that we would love to share from if desired. Steep Falls is a rural village. Our home is a 5 min walk to the Saco River a favorite destination for canoeing, kayaking or tube floating (after the spring run off!) It is just a 10 min drive to the boat launch for Sebago Lake, one of Maine's largest and most beautiful bodies of water.

Birch Ledge Guesthouse--Four Season Maine Getaway

Both rustic and elegant, the Birch Ledge Guest House offers a cozy place to relax and recharge, whatever the season. Carriage House on Lily Brook Farm

Large spacious Carriage House studio (the building with the red roof in the cover photo) on 34.5 acre working farm in Southern Maine. 1/2 hour from Portland and Biddeford/Saco, 40 min from Kennebunk. The farm looks out onto fields and woods in the back but sits on Rt 35 which is a not a highway, it's a country road, but people drive on it like it's the interstate.
