The Gator Getaway is the perfect escape from reality located in the swampy town of Manchac, Louisiana. It is the ideal place for a stay near the water with no boat required! The historic building was the original Church of Manchac and was remodeled into a home. Located within walking distance to the famous Middendorf's Restaurant! Also nearby is the public boat launch, Sun Buns river bar boat taxi, and other local favorite spots! Located about 40 miles outside of New Orleans.

Located just 1 mile from the Village of Folsom where all essentials can be found. Numerous horse show venues are located nearby. Bayou Manchac connects to the Amite River nearby. We can’t wait to share our paradise with you!
