Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

Net buiten het dorp Wolphaartsdijk (Zeeuws: Wolfersdiek), op loopafstand van ’t Veerse meer, ligt ons eenvoudige, maar complete vakantiehuisje. Het huisje staat los van ons eigen woonhuis en heeft een eigen ingang. U heeft de beschikking over een eigen toilet, douche en keuken. Daarnaast kunt u de openslaande deuren open zetten en heerlijk plaatsnemen op uw eigen terras of even tot rust komen in de hangmat. Door de locatie is dit een perfecte uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en fietstochten.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! Door de centrale ligging een fijn vertrekpunt voor fietstochten en wandelingen door het prachtige Zeeuwse landschap en uitgestrekte stranden.
