Personal tour of the best of Dublin!
*Have a specific date in mind that is not shown? Just send me a message to arrange a tour.* This tour is the perfect introduction to Dublin City and indeed Ireland. However, the tour is designed so that not only do you learn about the history and culture of this great city but you also get to know your guide on a personal basis. There will be no more than 5 people (including you) on this tour at any time. This guarantees a very small and intimate tour where we can get to know each other at the same time as we get to know Dublin. Think of this tour like walking through an amazing new place with a friend who happens to know a lot about the area, its founding and some of its most beautiful secret locations and stories! We will meet at an agreed upon city center location before embarking by foot throughout the city both Northside and Southside stopping off at key locations along the way, as well as many not so well known locations. Viking Dublin, Dublin Castle, Trinity College, The Famine memorial, Revolutionary sites and a traditional Dublin pub are just some of what awaits us. Other things to note Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the unpredictable Irish weather. You may also want to bring some cash for food/drinks a long the way. Also a camera for lots of great photos!

Meet the locals and experience the fun Irish people are famous for and get as involved as you enjoy. Take part in Irish songs, literature, street art, games, taste and learn about the lesser known amazing history of Dublin. Other things to note If there is only one spot available online and you are more than one in your group, just send me a message and we can arrange something! Where we will go has been left out, I want it to be a surprise .
Evening Walking Tour of Dublin
Some places only come alive after dark, or at least in the later hours of the day - and indeed that might be said of Dublin. At evening time the city's majestic architecture, its wrought-iron railings and bridges take on an eerie, almost Dickensian look. And yet this is Ireland, and the nearby pubs teem with banter and the strains of lively Irish music played on the fiddle and on the tin whistle. . . The Evening Tour will show you what few visitors see - Dublin’s more romantic ‘after 6pm’ ambience - with neither an office worker nor another tourist in sight. A great end-of-day activity for couples, groups, team-building or just the individual flâneur, the tour starts from the iconic Spire in O'Connell Street and calls at the General Post Office and the city's haunted Ha'penny Bridge. We briefly immerse ourselves in a more contemporary Dublin as we visit the lively Temple Bar district, and call in on The Project - the club where supergroup U2 were originally spotted in 1978 by talent scout Paul McGuinness. We view the world’s first purpose-built parliament - the Old Irish Parliament in College Green - and pass through the genteel shopping thoroughfare of Grafton Street, before our evening stroll finally concludes at the elegant Mansion House - home to Dublin's Lord Mayor and the first dedicated mayoral residence in either Ireland or Great Britain.

Forge a silver ring with Jewellers
Learn how to make a sterling silver ring from scratch, with our AWARD WINNING EXPERIENCE! Start off by marking your silver to the length you require by choosing which finger you would like it on. Then, you'll use a handsaw to cut it to size, you'll learn how to form the ring, using a mallet to shape it to the ring mandrel. You'll watch as it is soldered in front of you by an expert tutor—all the time, she will explain exactly what she is doing. Then you'll learn to file it by using different hand files—this is fun, as it is when you get to individualize your ring, deciding what curve you would like it to have. This can make a great difference to the end result. Next, you'll choose from three very different textures. You get to use your creativity with the planishing hammer to achieve the texture you require. People love this part as it's when you make your ring truly individual. Finally you get to choose your polish. Some people like it polished only on the inside, to give it an artistic/rustic look. Others like the glittery sparkle of a fully polished ring. It's your decision. Then the best bit—you get to keep your ring! It's the ultimate souvenir for remembering your trip to Ireland. Enjoy! Other things to note We like to keep our classes small & intimate so our clients get the most out of the experience. Therefore, we kindly request if you are in a group, please book under the one person. If this isn't possible, please do message us, so we can ensure you are kept together for the experience! :)
