Less than 30 mins away by public transport from the nearby Woolwich Arsenal station, Stratford shopping centre has lots of shopping and restaurants to explore for a day. You should definitely see the Olympic stadium which is 5 mins walk away.

Huge Westfields shopping centre with literally every shop required under one roof. Also has a nice rooftop champagne bar for drinks after shopping

Dwarfed by Westfield, but useful for local Boots Pharmacy, Sainsbury, WH Smith, High Street Banks and coffee bars/cafes.

Great place to shop for clothing (designer and non designer) great place to eat something different or spontaneous without the west end extortion prices. Food court, Casino, Health and body shops, Cinema etc
