Used to be the President's main household until late 2018 when Mexico's new President took over and gave it back to the public. Just astonishing.

Recently opened to the public so it is good chance to see the official homes of the Mexican presidents. Many of the rooms are unfurnished, which gives the place a barely staged "open house". The art is wonderful and the special exhibits are enough of a reason to go.

Now open to the public, used to be the home of all the presidents from Lazaro Cardenas to Peña Nieto and also it was the offices to the Estado Mayor Presidencial (the main security corps of the president).
