Cool hangout spot in the summer with sand and drinks, but I would recommend just to walk along the canal from here to Taborstrasse or the other way round. There are many nice outdoor bars where young and hip people hang out in the summer and drink. Often they have live outdoor music events and mini-parties too.

Beach like setup that you can enjoy your drinks near the canal. Very popular in summer.
