When you want British, seasonal and grown-up, you can bet your bottom dollar you’ll enjoy a meal at the Grill at the Dorchester. Yes, Alain Ducasse’s three-Michelin-star restaurant is next door, but the good news is his protégé Guillaume Katola oversees the menu here (and, shhhh, it’s two-thirds of the price). It’s grand without being intimidating, with Murano chandeliers, oak parquet flooring, butterscotch leather seats and never-wrinkled tablecloths.
