As a solo traveler in Porto, I couldn’t be happier with my photo session with Joana. Traveling alone in such a beautiful and romantic city, you sometimes wish there were someone to help capture those moments — it can be frustrating to rely only on phone selfies and never quite get the photos you imagine. Joana did exactly that for me: she helped preserve the most wonderful memories of Porto.

What I loved most is her very natural style of photography. I never felt awkward or pressured into unnatural poses; instead, she simply captured genuine moments that truly felt like me. The photos turned out beautiful and authentic.

On top of that, Joana shared many stories about everyday local life in Porto. It felt less like hiring a photographer and more like spending time with a local friend.

We had a wonderful time walking around Porto and Gaia with Joana to take our family photos! She brought us to a bunch of small neighborhood spots that we otherwise wouldn’t have found ourselves, and told us a bit about the history of them as well. Great eye for photography, and very friendly and informative. 10/10 would recommend!
