He's an awesome photographer. The only downside is, you have to lodge a report to Airbnb to get the host to reply.

According to the host, he had a lot of spam messages prior to my booking.

I would highly recommend Matias. This was my first time surfing and upon being able to stand on the board, amongst multiple falls, Matias was able to capture the essence of the moments that I wanted for keepsake.

It wasn’t a nice day on the water, but despite of all this I still had so many pictures that I loved and it was all a result of Matias and his keen eye for detail and natural beauty.

There are many photographers on the island, but what I appreciated most about Matias was that it was easy to coordinate and he was very accommodating with the constant changes as a result of the weather.

I highly recommend Matias, and as for myself, I can’t wait to come back to Siargao to do another session with Matias, with more lessons of course
