Sadly, we found this rental to be very underwhelming. We didn’t have hot water or gas for the stove (and outdoor grill) and the house lacked WiFi. Also, the house is located off a busy highway and next to an ATV rental.

This was my second time staying here. My first experience was great. 1 year later: the hot tub does not work (I messaged her and she said it may not work when it’s cold….., the mattress on the swinging bed is gone, the out door furniture is falling apart and has no padding left , only 1 cornhole, BBQ doesn’t work, trash left everywhere outside. Shower in guest room does not work (which she did list), shower in 1st bedroom is leaking from pipe with half pressure, and there is pretty much nothing in the kitchen, maybe enough cups and forks for breakfast.

I messaged Karen twice a few days apart, (with “read” recites) requesting a partial refund or to at least acknowledge the negligence of the airbnb. She has not responded to me.

This Airbnb was awesome the first time. It currently needs some love, maintenance and attention.

we really enjoyed staying at Karen's place. She was really communicative throughout the days that we were there. there were a couple of things that needed her assistance, and she was on point on not only helping us with our stay but also fixing things that needed to be fix because of the weather (too cold), we couldn't enjoy the spa to the fullest but definitely will look into renting her place in the future with warm weather. my group and I wanted a quiet place to spend New years, and this is definitely the place to rent when you want to disconnect and have a peaceful stay.
